Hello I’m Amy, I’m foodie/health-nut with a long standing obsession for travel. For as long as I can remember I have had a love for reading and learning, and my parents instilled in me the truth that ‘the best way to learn about something is through experience’. Through that I became a true adventurer and fearless traveler. By the time I was 30 I had lived in 5 states and 3 countries, noting that my family still lives in the same Virginia county I grew up and went to school in. When Mark and I first began dating I saw that the marriage of our two dreams could be a lot of fun, so we plotted to sail the world together.
Our goal is to continue to downsize both belongings and commitments. Mark has been actively researching boats that would fit our needs: style, accessories, ease of maintenance, and budget. We plan to find a 34-38′ cruiser. And depart from the port where we purchase her, whether it’s East or West coast. Our plan is to sail for at least 3 years. We each have a wish list of destinations!
